The Rehoboth Beach Farmers Market opened for its 20th season May 5.

Pat Coluzzi, market founder and manager, said it’s hard to believe it's been 20 years. It all got started because she didn’t want to have to go out to the highway to get her produce, she said.

The Historic Lewes Farmers Market will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Lewes Elementary School parking lot, 820 Savannah Road, Lewes. 

Following through on a dream, Avery Wack, 8, got to meet Pastry Chef Dru Tevis at Thompson Island Brewing Company over Fourth of July weekend.

Dru Tevis of Brûlé Bakery cuts his cake during the HLFM’s celebration. Tevis was one of five vendors who contributed cakes for the celebration.
